How to Become a
Leader
in our student ministry, here's a brief
overview of our leadership application process and expectations. And, when
you're done reading, there's even a form at the bottom that you can download,
print up, and get back to us so we can begin processing your application!

Here's a breakdown of how the application process works:
(1) Fill out our Ministry Leader Application, found below. It's 4 pages
long, but that's because we go to great lengths to make sure we have the very
best leaders in place for our students, and because we want to be able to assure
our parents that 24-7 is a safe place for them to send their students week after
week.
(2) Once we have processed your application, we will ask you to
attend 24.7, to
check out what we do, and make sure you know what exactly you're getting in to!
It's loud, it's rowdy, and it's fun... but it's not for everyone. We don't want
you to be overwhelmed your first week, wondering what in the world you've signed
up for!
(3) Greg will sit down with you one-on-one, taking a few minutes to ask you some
questions and get to know you a little better.
(4) We will have you sit in with a small group for a few weeks, to get
acclimated to our culture. Again, we don't want you to be overwhelmed when you
start!
That's the process. It's thorough, but that's because we want to do everything
we can to find leaders who are the right fit this ministry. Our expectations for
our leaders are very high, demanding not only your presence 1 night a week at
24-7, but also that you will invest in the lives of the students in your small
groups throughout the week. Make phone calls, go to football games, get your
group involved in service projects, etc. This is a BIG opportunity... you are
investing in THE FUTURE of the church! |
